What's up guys. Hope you had a good weekend. I know I did. I promised you a weapon review and I'm here to deliver. Today I'm talking about the Smith & Wesson M&P .40 cal pistol. I recently had a chance to get some hands on time with this pistol and thought I would share my thoughts.

Bug Out Philosophy

What's up TKZ'ers. Kris here, and I'm back with a couple more items I think everyone should have in their "Bug-Out Bag. Before I start though, I'd like to thank the guys for adding me to the staff for the website. I look forward to contributing more and more and also I'd like to apologize to you guys, the readers for slacking off on the Weapons Wednesday posts. I will be resuming those will full force this coming Wednesday and I will also post some weapons stuff this weekend.

    I am gonna switch it up a bit on this lovely Humpday.  Rather than concentrating on one gun, I'm gonna post a link to a Youtube channel that will most likely blow your mind...maybe even end your usefulness as a human being.  If you are reading this blog than I'm sure you know about this guy, but just in case...do yourself a favor, grab a cold beer and sit down for a minimum of two hours and watch these gun, tank and knife videos.  FPS Russia....'I Piss Excellence'. 30 Days of Light

   

   To have 30 days of light from one lantern...yeah right.  No...seriously, 30 days of LED illumination from 3 'D' size batteries.  The eGear 30 Day Lantern is impressive, with three different power settings it can be as bright or as dim as you need it. 

Bear Grylls Survival Gear

    So...yeah, please don't be mad...we missed Weapons Wednesday.  So, in its place here is Fundamentals Friday!  We'll be looking at Bear Grylls gear.  This guy is pretty crazy, I thoroughly enjoy his show (even though he has a camera crew).  He has participated in some insane survival situations and captured them for all of us to enjoy.  Due to his huge success he has been lucky enough to get some great sponsers that use his name to sell some pretty great gear.  The two biggest names are Gerber and Craghoppers.

  Are you sitting at the local Jiffy Lube waiting for your car oil change? Looking at the horrible selection of magazines, listening to the random ramblings of the old people around the deteriorating 1970's coffee machine...well your saving grace is hereeee!!!  Dead Trigger is a great game that is right up your ally (since you are reading this blog), killing ZOMBIES!!!  Go into your App Store and download this free game, it'll make your boring wait....less boring.

Practical Things to Know.....

With the world plummeting into chaos, you find yourself lucky enough to have a working car and maybe even a generator. The problem is you are very low on gas and no where near a working gas station. Not to mention you're in NJ , where it's against the law for you to pump your own gas, so this means all the gas stations are crawling with zombie attendees anyway. So, they should be avoided unless you have no other options. You do notice abandoned cars everywhere you go, but how could you get gas out for you to use?
