When you are on the move, constantly evading The Dead Breathians where do you sleep? Do you set up a tent...every single night? Do you sleep on the cold wet ground? Or high up in a tree? None of these sound interesting or very safe. A Hammock comes to mind when thinking of a great way to catch some Z's due to its ability to be set up in a variety of situations.
If you are in the city you merely need to find two supportive poles to attach to; if you are in the woods then find two trees that are the correct width apart. You can also mount a hammock fairly high in the air to avoid being stubbled upon by the dead or people trying to steal your gear. Portable may become an issue, but that is where this ultra-light soft ball size hammock comes into view...brought to you by Campmor, the Grand Trunk Ultralight Hammock - Camo is a great option. It is affordable ($20), tough, and rot/mildew resistant with its quick drying, breathable polyester. And to make set up even easier check out these quick straps to go around the tree/pole/structure, Hammock Bliss Tree Straps($12).
There are a ton of options for sleeping out there, but this style of Hammock seems like a great product for Nomads and/or Wanderers. TKZ_out.
i think that there should be a write up for pros and cons of making a permanent camp and pros and cons of being a nomad
