When the lights go off in a power outage what do you do?...Grab a flashlight. When you're in a tent in a field or sleeping in a tree and you hear some undead walking around...what do you grab? Weapon should be your answer, but you also need LIGHT! I have a strong feeling we will be featuring dozens of various flashlights, head lamps and lanterns throughout the 50 or so years this blog will be around, but tonight I want to talk about one I own and use all the time; the Kobalt 150 Lumen Compact Flashlight .
This small light is truly impressive. Excellent build quality (metal not plastic) and EXTREMELY bright. On a recent vacation we were on the beach in pitch black and everyone had various flashlights. Some of the lights were incandescent bulbs and others were LED, this small light out shown lights that used 2x the amount of batteries and were 3-4 times the size. We were all blown away.
It has two power settings, bright and super bright. Included is 2x 123A batteries and a case. My only gripe are the batteries, they are pricey but fairly easy to find. It says the battery life is only 2 hours on the package, but I have had mine for over a year and it is still as bright as the first day I bought it. And, not that it helps much after the end, but it has a lifetime warranty.
As far as price goes, its not cheap, but its not SureFire price either. At around $35 it was well worth it in my opinion. TKZ_out.
Where would you buy replacement batteries? are they rechargable.

So cool a review! You really are the expert. I also want to buy a laser led flashlight,but It is hard to find the budget and good laser flashlight now.I found the Gearbest flashlight laser 2017 is good quality. What is your idea?
